A New Direction

Yes, GOD has shown me a new direction for helping the homeless US military veterans.
At first we were going to build tiny homes for these veterans; however GOD showed me that without FINANCIAL LITERACY being taught to them, they wouldn’t have the ability to pay a monthly mortgage! Also this will give us the opportunity to see if we can find MONEY owed these veterans like we did with my friend Alan in Atlanta. We were able to secure for him $100,000!
I have had the pleasure of visiting POTTER HOUSE in Jefferson, Georgia, where men addicted to drugs and alcohol are being given an opportunity for a new Christ based live free of their addictions!
Potter House consist of a 500 acre farm, dormitories and a teaching facility. My former friend Delle Taylor, mother of Congresswoman Margie Taylor Greene, has been teaching FINANCIAL LITERACY there for a number of years. We are fortunate that my PNC banker Adam is going to do the same for our project.
I’m sure that we will be able to find Christian counselors and others, who can fulfill the other areas taught at Potter House.
I discussed this at our 3H Bible study last night where Roger, who is a very successful new Christian real estate developer in Franklin, North Carolina, has agreed to check out any properties that could be used in the 50 acres range. David, a retired successful Christian builder, has agreed to be involved. James, a US Army veteran and western North Carolina real estate agent, likes the concept. Also Russ, the owner of 3H with his wife Kim, who is a US Air Force veteran, wants to get involved.
As soon as our nonprofit real estate development is approved by the IRS, we will be looking to see if there are people in the western North Carolina area, who would like to donate their property to this project. I spoke to one veteran who had 40 acres that he might be willing to donate that is already approved in Macon County for development.
Stay tuned for further details!
